سياسة الملكية الفكرية

In line with the Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences’ commitment to the highest standards of integrity and transparency in scientific publishing, the journal adopts a clear and comprehensive policy regarding intellectual property rights. This policy ensures the protection of authors’ rights and their scientific contributions while strengthening readers’ and researchers’ trust in the journal’s published content.

1- Authors’ Rights

The intellectual property rights of the research remain with the authors.
The journal retains the right of first publication of the research, whether in print or electronic format.
Authors are allowed to reuse their research for non-commercial academic, research, or educational purposes, provided that proper acknowledgment is made indicating that the work was first published in the journal.

2- Copyright and Reuse Rights

All published research in the journal is subject to an open-access license, allowing readers to freely access and use it for research and educational purposes, provided the source is cited and the scientific content is not altered.
Re-publication, translation, or distribution of the research for commercial purposes is not permitted without prior written approval from the Editorial Board.

3- Authors’ Responsibilities

Authors must submit original, unpublished research that does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
If data, tables, images, or figures from other sources are used, written permission from the copyright holders must be obtained, and proper citation provided.
Authors bear full legal responsibility for any violation of intellectual property laws.

4- Journal Intellectual Property

The journal retains full rights over the formatting, electronic design, cover design, and supplementary materials published on its official platforms.
The use of the journal’s name, logo, or content for promotional or commercial purposes is prohibited without prior approval from the Editorial Board.

5- Citation and Academic Use

The journal encourages researchers and readers to make use of published materials by citing them in their research and studies.
Citations must follow recognized academic standards (e.g., APA, MLA) and include the author’s name, article title, and publication details in the journal.

6- Violation of Intellectual Property Rights

The journal reserves the right to reject or withdraw any research found to contain plagiarism or violate intellectual property rights.
If such violations are discovered after publication, the article will be officially retracted from the journal’s website and indexing databases, accompanied by a public clarification statement.

Through this policy, the Journal of Humanities and Applied Sciences seeks to protect authors’ rights, promote a culture of respect for intellectual property, and ensure that scientific knowledge remains accessible in fair and responsible ways.
