Abstract

This study attempts to identify the most important historical periods that the western Tripoli Eyalet has experienced during its modern history, represented by its historical leaders who took turns in power. The year 1795 AD-1832 AD, whose reign was characterized by prosperity and development and different from the rest of the rule of the Karamanli dynasty. His reign also witnessed the most important event in the history of the Eyalet and the study of Yusuf Pasha’s economic and political policy and the extent of its influence and influence inside and outside the Eyalet in the life of the community and the ruling political class, and to identify the Yusuf Pasha’s attempt to improve the economic conditions in the western province of Tripoli, and the accompanying commercial and economic stagnation and how to transform Tripoli from the deteriorating situation into a center of power between states and the great role in Yusuf Pasha’s foreign and internal policy represented in his relations with neighboring and European countries and the United States of America.
