Abstract

The study aims to find out if there is a difference in emotional intelligence skills according to the marital compatibility of the wives of the study sample, as well as to identify whether there are statistically significant differences in the emotional intelligence skills of the wives of the study sample according to the demographic variables (age-duration of marriage-number of children-The city-professional, and to achieve this goal, two measures of emotional intelligence and marital compatibility were applied to a sample of (80) wives within the city of Masallata and Tarhuna. While there is a difference in emotional intelligence skills, which is the skill (self-awareness-motivation-and empathy) according to marital adjustment, as well as the absence of statistically significant differences in the emotional intelligence skills of the wives of the study sample according to demographic variables (age - duration of marriage - number of children – City -Profession).
