The importance of human development in Libyan society and the role of social service in its success

Abstract

  This study aimed to shed light on the importance of human development in the progress and development of Libyan society and the role of the social service profession in the success of its programs. This study is one of the library studies that relied on scientific sources to analyze its contents, using the descriptive analytical approach, which seeks to discover reality as it is.  By collecting information and facts from references, scientific dissertations, peer-reviewed periodicals, and websites, it addressed the concept of human development, its importance and its most important goals, and the concept of social service in the field of human development, its importance and the most important roles it plays to make its programs successful. This study ended with a conclusion that confirms the importance of this.  The issue is relevant to Libyan society, and I reached a set of results, the most important of which are:

 1- Human development is critical in Libyan society, especially now.

   2- The prevailing social conditions in Libyan society confirm the importance of the need to activate the roles of the social service profession in the success of human development programs.
